So, what makes The Stanley Cup so popular and why does everybody love it?
If you haven’t been living under a rock, you would have heard about The Stanley Cups that everybody seems to be raving about. Kids these days, especially with the influence of TikTok, have become obsessed with these and a lot of people seem to be confused on what the hype is around them.
I guess what makes this so unique is the fact that it holds a big amount of liquid and supposedly keeps the temperature of the liquid inside the same temperature for hours, whereas normal cups/beakers would not have this unique feature.
This craze is the perfect example of just how big trends can get from being on TikTok. The influence of TikTok is huge on this generation and will make anybody want to push to get the products trending.
A big reason of its popularity right now is its aesthetic, the cup has solid, easy colours which are pleasant for the eye to see and will fit the aesthetic of the “clean girls” of TikTok which is what the majority of the young girls on TikTok are trying to be.
The price range of these cups are ranging from €30-€50.
As a result of The Stanley Cup being so big, smaller businesses have begun to make their own versions as a copy to also try entice customers and make them easier for people to access if they are on a budget.
For example, Penney’s have created their own version of The Stanley Cup for just €10. There are many other brands that have jumped on the bandwagon and made their own versions of it, which is great for anybody looking for one but do not want to fork out the €50 for one.
